Overview Software Senior Developer (Full Stack Javascript/Angular/C#/NodeJS Developer) The role offers the right developer a chance to work on our enterprise-scale web application in an established, but evolving company that is looking to new technology and great design to build products that leapfrog the competition. Responsibilities This full-stack developer will have a good familiarity with HTML5/CSS/Javascript and be competent in using at least one modern JS framework. (e.g. Angular, React, Vue). They will be confident using C#.NET/Java/NodeJS or equivalent backend technology. They will have excellent object-oriented programming skills and understand the importance of code refactoring and optimization. They will also be comfortable configuring web servers (e.g. IIS or Apache Tomcat) and performing other back-end maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years commercial Javascript/Web development with backend, as well as understanding a selection of the most recent technologies for both development, automated testing, and deployment automation. (e.g. MVC, NodeJS, Docker, Kubernetes, Selenium, Nunit, Karma/Jasmine, Azure, Vagrant, Chef, Puppet etc) As a confident developer, they would also be expected to lead juniors and assist with the architecture and technology choices for new components. Including the building of Proof of Concepts, establishing and improving the build-chain, and constructing test automation elements that aid the development process, where appropriate. In addition to technical skills, they will be proactive in learning new technologies, be fascinated with AI, and likely have experimented with its use. LOVE coding and thrive in a fast-paced team environment. Qualifications A bachelor?s degree (2:1 from a recognized university) is preferred.
