Professional competencies: Programming Skills: Proficiency in languages like MATLAB/Simulink, Python, ASCET,nice to have: C/C++, Participation in tool development projects Implementation of features according to specified requirements Technical knowledge: Physics and chemistry, technical fields like internal combustion engines, exhaust aftertreatment, on board diagnostics Analytical Thinking: Ability to think analytically and abstractly. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities Project Management: Efficient communication & management of projects Responsibilities: Development and Validation : Creating and developing functions for engine and aftertreatment. Requirement Analysis : Analyzing requirements and goals. Pre- and Post-Processing : Handling inputs and outputs of functions Model Integration : Combining modules into larger systems/functions. Model Building : Creating models, including subsystems, defining boundary conditions Function development : Development of software function units (e.g. with Matlab/Simulink) Calibration, testing and evaluation: Calculation of calibration parameters, development of corresponding calibration and automatization tools, defining and executing test cases.
