Location: Any major IT hubs in India (Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram),926 Experience: 4 ? 8 Years Employment Type: Full-time Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in office) Notice Period: 0?15 days (mandatory) Job Stability: Required Compensation Range: INR 14,00,000 ? 30,00,000 Interview Process: 2 Technical Rounds + 1 Client Discussion Role Overview The role involves independently developing high-quality, error-free code while contributing to technical design, mentoring junior developers, and supporting delivery of secure, scalable, and efficient applications. This position also requires strong expertise in ServiceNow SecOps and ITOM modules. Key Responsibilities Software Engineering Develop, debug, test, and document software components and features. Contribute to design discussions for applications, modules, and components. Select appropriate technical solutions through reuse, improvement, or reconfiguration of existing components. Optimize code efficiency, cost, and quality through process and automation improvements. Identify recurring issues, enhance system design, and proactively resolve defects. Prepare low-level designs (LLD) for multiple components. Prepare documentation and conduct peer reviews. ServiceNow Focus (SecOps + ITOM) Implement and configure: Security Incident Response (SIR) Vulnerability Response (VR) Threat Intelligence workflows Deploy and maintain: Discovery Service Mapping Event Management Integrate ServiceNow with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners (Qualys, Tenable), and monitoring platforms. Build automation workflows using Orchestration and Flow Designer. Maintain and enhance CMDB accuracy across security and IT operations. Link security operations with ITSM processes for seamless incident & change alignment. Configure Event Management for alert correlation and automated actions. Support compliance and governance requirements. Collaborate with cybersecurity, IT operations, and infrastructure teams. Expected Outputs High-quality, independently developed code. Unit test case creation, execution, and review. Module-level activity management and status reporting. Accurate effort and resource estimations. Root-cause analysis and mitigation of defects. Release execution and configuration management. Contribution to knowledge repositories and team documentation. Mentoring junior developers and supporting their FAST goals. Must-Have Skills Strong hands-on experience with: ServiceNow SecOps (SIR, VR) ServiceNow ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management) Expertise in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide). Experience with API integrations and MID Server configurations. Good understanding of ITIL processes and security frameworks. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and monitoring tools. Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills. Nice-to-Have Skills ServiceNow certifications: SecOps Implementation Specialist ITOM Implementation Specialist Exposure to advanced automation, orchestration, and monitoring solutions.
