Software Developer (Contract)

Oklahoma City

Pay Rate Range:

$30 – $32 hour

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications to support business initiatives
Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions using T-SQL
Develop and enhance front-end applications using Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
Work with APIs and web services including WebForms, MVC, and WebAPI frameworks
Collaborate with project coordinators and management to prioritize development work
Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and adherence to best practices
Reverse engineer and enhance existing code and data flows within complex systems
Track development progress and manage tasks using tools such as Jira or similar systems
Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing

Required Skills and Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in full-stack software development
Strong proficiency in Microsoft T-SQL and SQL Server environments
Experience with .NET and C# development
Hands-on experience with front-end technologies including Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience with Microsoft development tools such as SQL Server Management Studio and Visual Studio
Familiarity with source control and DevOps tools such as Git and Azure DevOps
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desired Attributes:

Experience with Node.js or additional JavaScript frameworks
Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines and deployment strategies
Product mindset with experience delivering user-facing features
Ability to quickly learn and understand complex systems and workflows
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality code
Willingness to ask questions and continuously improve technical skillsets
