A Day in the Life
The Software Developer III is a full-stack developer supporting web portals, reporting, and information management for one of our subsidiaries. This position suits a versatile developer skilled in bridging legacy and modern platforms, advancing continuous improvement across the IT landscape to meet evolving business and customer demands. You’ll work across legacy and modern tech stacks to enhance, support, and refactor critical systems. Your work will include 40% enhancements and new projects, 40% production support, and 20% modernization.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain full-stack business applications using .NET, C#, and PHP — working across both back-end (50%) and front-end (50%) development.
• Take the lead on projects, from gathering technical requirements to designing scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that drive business value.
• Review code and champion quality, ensuring alignment with SDLC best practices and promoting standards for logging, testing, and documentation.
• Collaborate across teams to modernize legacy applications while continuously delivering new features and enhancements.
• Embrace AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) to accelerate coding, refactoring, and problem-solving — and share your insights to help the team gr
ow.• Own production support, troubleshoot issues, and lead root cause analysis to keep systems stable, reliable, and performing at a high level.
