Mandatory Skills Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Kafka, JPA/Hibernate, REST/SOAP, Database (Postgres/Oracle), PLSQL, JUnit, Swagger. Preferred Skills Ecommerce, Git, Azure, Openshift, Websphere or Weblogic or JBoss, Grafana Communication Skills Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, work with architects to come to an agreed technical approach, and lead development efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions. Ability to work collaboratively with or lead cross-functional teams with minimal supervision. Ability to drive consensus within a team and influence outcomes in significant technical decision-making. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to work with different business groups as well as IT partners (enterprise architects, vendors, etc.) Problem Solving Attention to detail and organization in all aspects of the system development along with a solid understanding of the customer need. EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor?s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience/training 5-8 years of experience in Java building web applications in a J2EE Environment Experience in application development, testing, implementation and documentation of web based applications using Java Experience in J2EE development including Spring Boot, Spring Batch, REST,JSP, web services, Eclipse, Git, SQL, PL SQL. Experience defining tables and creating SQL queries using Postgres/Oracle (preferred) or another database platform. Implement backend APIs using RESTful principles and Java frameworks such as Spring Boot / Webspere. Ensure seamless integration with frontend systems, databases, and third-party services. Troubleshoot and resolve backend-related issues. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the backend codebase. Experience creating and configuring deployments in Jenkins Experience with Cloud, OpenShift is preferred Ability to effectively plan, organize and prioritize multiple streams of activity. Demonstrated knowledge in building, debugging and maintaining mission critical enterprise applications.
