Job Description

Allied Mineral Products is a leading manufacturer of monolithic refractories worldwide. We’re looking for a Software Developer with experience in SAP ABAP and an interest in web technologies. Experience with Neptune DXP is a strong plus—but we’re also open to candidates eager and willing to learn the platform. You’ll help build, enhance, and support applications across SAP S/4HANA and our Neptune-based employee portal.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, support SAP ABAP objects (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, Conversions) and Fiori/UI5.
  • Build responsive applications using Neptune DXP or modern web tools (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
  • Collaborate with BAs, BPLs, and global development team to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and maintain existing applications.
  • Document technical designs and follow development best practices.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings, sprint planning, and technical reviews.
  • Willingness to work off hours as needed.


Qualifications

  • 2 to 4+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development. Experience in SAP ABAP (junior to senior levels considered).
  • Web development knowledge (JavaScript/HTML/CSS).
  • Neptune DXP experience or willingness to learn.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or related field.


Preferred Skills

  • SAPUI5/OpenUI5/Web Technology Stack
  • CDS Views, OOP ABAP, S/4HANA
  • Integration via OData or APIs
