The Amazon Business team is seeking Software Development Engineers who want to disrupt the way businesses purchase online. The AB Services team was established in Q2?22 as a key enabler of turnkey solutions that reduce their costs, improve their operational efficiency, and free up their bandwidth to focus on their core business. Services are most critical to enabling AB customer deals. You will be part of a team that is responsible for all aspects of the customer experience - from the visual interface to the back end services. You will be working with new technologies that improve usability and increase performance and scalability. You will help redefine normal for this segment of the market. You will help translate business requirements to technical deliverables and deliver operationally stable solution that provide good customer experience. Candidates need to have strong ownership, passion to provide great customer experience and excellent troubleshooting skills. Experience with building web-based applications and/or web services-based applications is desired. Key job responsibilities Usage of design patterns, re-use and efficient coding best practices to deliver high-quality work on tight schedules. Partner with global development team(s) for successful software delivery. Design and develop end-to-end solutions that enhance software architecture and automate solutions. Leverage evolving tech to implement solutions Build reliable, high-performance Web Services, APIs, Micro-Services, Micro-Frontends, and SDKs that improve customers' experience Learn from others and help grow those in your team to achieve their best Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills Basic Qualifications 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience Experience programming with at least one software programming language Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
