Software Application Engineer

To reinforce our Design and Development Team in the Concrete Mixer Drives and Off-Highway Systems department, we are looking for a new colleague at our location in Coimbatore.

What you can look forward to as Software Application Engineer (m/f/d):

• Software calibration and configuration for transmission systems of construction machinery equipment
• System definition, component selection and documentation for software application projects
• Preparation and execution of safety- and functional tests on HIL (Hardware in the loop) and SIL (software in the loop) systems
• Support and Definition of functional specifications together with clients and/or expert teams
• Field Support related to troubleshooting, fine-tuning parameters, testing and validation
• Continuous improvement of existing application tool chain, processes, and approaches in interdisciplinary teams

 Your profile as Software Application Engineer (m/f/d):

• Degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, vehicle technology or familiar
• 6+ years of professional experience in the environment of technical machines
• Good understanding in terms of vehicle powertrain, vehicle electronics, CAN bus systems
• Experience with at least one high-level programming language (e.g. Matlab, Python)
• Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to communicate complex matters to all stakeholder (e.g. customers)
