About The Role

Softobiz is seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer who brings strong hands-on expertise in both automation and manual testing. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end testing initiatives, define QA best practices, mentor engineers, and ensure high-quality releases across cloud-native and enterprise product environments.

Key Responsibilities

Drive test planning, test strategy, and QA processes for complex enterprise applications.
Perform both manual and automation testing across functional, regression, performance, and integration scenarios.
Build and maintain robust automation frameworks (UI + API).
Review requirements, identify gaps, and proactively highlight risks to stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, developers, and DevOps to ensure seamless release processes.
Own defect lifecycle management and ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
Mentor junior/mid QA engineers and contribute to process maturity and continuous improvement.

Technical Skills Required

Strong expertise in Selenium / Cypress / Playwright or equivalent.
API automation tools Postman / RestAssured / Karate / Katalon.
Good exposure to Azure DevOps / Jenkins / CICD pipelines.
Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases for validation.
Knowledge of load/performance testing tools like JMeter or Locust is an added advantage.
