Overview

We are looking for a Social Media & Web Manager (Media Industry) with a strong proficiency in Web Content Management Systems (CMS) to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have a background in the media or PR industry and a robust understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), and LinkedIn. This role is essential for driving audience growth and ensuring our content is optimized for maximum engagement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management:
  • Manage all social media channels and the company website to enhance brand visibility.
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage and grow our audience.
  • Publishing Calendar Management:
  • Plan and execute the daily publishing calendar, ensuring timely content delivery.
  • Collaborate with editorial and production teams to align content formats and timing.
  • Analytics and Audience Growth:
  • Track analytics to measure performance and drive audience growth.
  • Own the analytics dashboard and utilize data-driven insights to inform strategy.
  • Content Optimization:
  • Optimize every piece of content for its respective platform to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Ensure adherence to SEO best practices in all content.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration:
  • Work closely with editorial and production teams, fostering collaboration across all departments to enhance content quality.


Key Skills

  • Social Media Management: Proven experience in managing social media platforms effectively within the media or PR sector.
  • SEO Strategy: Basic understanding of SEO principles and their application in content strategy.
  • CMS Proficiency: Strong knowledge of web content management systems.
  • Analytics & Audience Data: Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to drive engagement.
  • Publishing Calendar Management: Experience in managing and executing publishing schedules.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in digital marketing within the media or PR industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
