Role Overview We are seeking a strategic and creative Social Media Marketing Manager to own and scale Unity Growth Fund?s digital presence. This role is responsible for engaging and growing UGF?s social channels by developing and distributing high-value content across platforms, while ensuring full compliance with SEC and FINRA marketing regulations. You will work directly with our investor relations and leadership teams to amplify the firm?s brand and attract new limited partners. Key Responsibilities Own social media strategy across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and emerging platforms, building a content program that positions UGF as a thought leader in venture capital. Create original content spanning market commentary, portfolio milestones, investment theses, and sector insights. Develop and manage a social media calendar aligned with firm-wide initiatives and fundraising cycles. Test and refine content formats including long-form posts, video clips, charts, and visual assets. Ensure narrative consistency and brand alignment across all digital touchpoints. Develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies across social media, email, and broader brand initiatives. Manage and enhance the organization?s online presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and additional platforms. Design and run performance-driven campaigns to increase engagement, strengthen reach, and support conversion objectives. Leverage analytics to continuously optimize targeting, messaging, and channel mix. Community & Growth - Build and engage a community of accredited investors, LPs, founders, and technology professionals - Monitor industry conversations and identify opportunities for authentic engagement - Research and identify growth opportunities across new platforms and niche communities Analytics & Optimization - Measure channel and post-performance, sharing insights with marketing and leadership teams - Translate performance data into actionable creative strategies - Set up social listening for target audiences and refine strategy based on insights Compliance & Risk Management - Ensure all social content complies with SEC Marketing Rule (Rule 206(4)-1), Regulation D requirements, and applicable FINRA guidelines - Develop and maintain social media policies and procedures in coordination with compliance counsel - Oversee archiving and recordkeeping of all social media communications per SEC Rule 204-2 - Review content for appropriate disclosures related to testimonials, endorsements, and performance claims - Exercise strong judgment on what to publish, understanding the regulatory environment for private fund marketing Required Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in social media marketing, content strategy, or digital communications - Deep expertise as both a social content creator and strategist - Experience managing high-visibility or high-profile accounts in financial services, fintech, or technology sectors - Strong understanding of venture capital, private equity, or alternative investments - Demonstrated knowledge of SEC and FINRA marketing compliance requirements for investment advisers - Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to translate complex investment themes for diverse audiences - Self-starter with strong judgment and the ability to work independently - Bachelor?s degree in marketing, communications, finance, or related field Preferred Qualifications - Experience at a venture capital firm, private equity fund, or RIA - Familiarity with Regulation D (506(b) and 506(c)) offering frameworks and their marketing implications - Video production and graphic design capabilities - Established network within the technology and investment communities To apply, please submit your resume and portfolio of relevant social media work to [email protected] . ** Unity Growth Fund is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity **
