Social Media Manager – Restaurant & Bar

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the social media presence for a prominent Riverwalk restaurant and bar in Chicago. The position focuses on developing and executing creative content strategies across all major platforms, with a particular emphasis on TikTok. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing brand visibility, engaging with the local community, and showcasing the unique dining and bar experience to attract new and returning guests. On-site collaboration with the restaurant team is essential to capture authentic moments and drive real-time engagement.

Deliverables

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy tailored to the restaurant and bar sector.
• Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
• Produce high-quality short-form videos and imagery that highlight menu items, events, and the venue’s atmosphere.
• Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and foster community engagement.
• Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to maximize reach and engagement.
• Collaborate with the restaurant team to plan and promote special events, seasonal campaigns, and partnerships.

• Proven experience managing social media for restaurants, bars, or hospitality brands.
• Strong content creation skills, particularly with TikTok and Instagram Reels.
