Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Social Media Content Creator role based in Kochi. The Social Media Content Creator will plan, create, and publish engaging content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels. Responsibilities include brainstorming concepts with the creative team, developing content calendars, writing captions and scripts, and producing photo, video, and graphic content that aligns with each brand’s identity. The role involves monitoring trends, adapting content to platform best practices, collaborating with designers, strategists, and account managers, and supporting campaigns, influencer collaborations, and brand launches. The Social Media Content Creator will also track performance metrics, suggest optimizations, and ensure consistent, high-quality storytelling across all social touchpoints.
Qualifications
- Strong social media content creation skills, including short-form video, reels, stories, and static posts across major platforms.
- Proficiency in copywriting for social media, including captions, hooks, scripts, and basic storytelling tailored to different audiences.
- Experience with visual tools such as basic photo/video editing software and familiarity with design collaboration (e.g., working with graphic designers , editors).
- Ability to develop and follow content calendars, align with brand guidelines, and collaborate on digital marketing campaigns and influencer collaborations.
- Comfort with social media analytics and insights to measure performance, report on key metrics, and adjust content based on data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Prior experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing for agencies or brands is preferred.
- Relevant education in marketing, communications, media, design, or a related field is beneficial; a strong portfolio of social media work is highly valued.
