Role Description The Social Media Ads Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Varanasi. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and managing paid social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant channels to promote AKJ Academy’s courses and programs. Daily activities include setting up and optimizing ad campaigns, monitoring performance metrics, managing budgets, and preparing regular reports on campaign outcomes. The Social Media Ads Manager will collaborate closely with content and marketing teams to align ads with ongoing promotions, refine audience targeting, and test creatives and messaging. The role also involves staying current with platform updates and best practices, identifying opportunities to increase lead generation and conversions, and ensuring brand consistency in all paid social communications.


Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills for planning, executing, and optimizing paid campaigns.
  • Candidates should possess solid Content Strategy and Writing skills to develop effective ad copy, creatives, and campaign narratives.
  • Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and interpreting campaign results for stakeholders.
  • Candidates should possess analytical skills for tracking KPIs, using ad managers and analytics tools, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Experience managing paid ads on major social platforms (e.g., Meta Ads, YouTube Ads, LinkedIn Ads) is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with the education or Edutech sector and lead-generation funnels for courses or coaching programs is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Varanasi, manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in digital advertising.
