Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gandhinagar for a Social Impact Strategy Intern & Associate. The role involves supporting strategy and consulting assignments across public policy, governance initiatives, and social impact programs, including desk research, field insights, and stakeholder engagement. Analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, preparing briefing notes, and contributing to reports, presentations, and proposals.
The role also requires contributing to internal knowledge-building, participating in team discussions, and supporting media and communication efforts related to social impact initiatives.
Qualifications: analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and support evidence-based recommendations.
- Communication and presentation skills to convey complex ideas clearly in written documents and visual formats.
- Foundational consulting skills,problem-solving, client orientation,, structured approach to project delivery.
- Interest in market & policy research, desk reviews, and stakeholder interviews with a focus on health, government scheme beneficiary
- Demonstrated interest in public policy, governance, social impact, or development sector work in India.
- Ability to work on-site in Gandhinagar, collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Relevant academic background in public policy, economics, social sciences, development studies, management, law, or related fields.
- Proficiency in common productivity tools (e.g., MS Office or equivalent) and comfort with data analysis; familiarity with data-tech or visualization tools is an advantage.
- Prior internships or project experience with government bodies, nonprofits, research organizations, or consulting firms is beneficial.
- Role is field communications, involves systemic interactions, CE work, Co-create structured, scalable roadmaps for public welfare, digital public goods, and community capacity building (such as Self-Help Group micro-entrepreneurship or formal rural-urban migration frameworks).
- Apply insights from behavioral science and civic psychology to design community-led participation models and feedback loops.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Policy, Economics, Business Management, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Tenure of the fellowship is negotiable and will be informed based on the candidate profile. Reporting structure, accomodation details, stipend will be informed to the finalised candidates.
