JOB POSITION

• Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team.
• The position is responsible for collaborating with data architects to implement data models and ensure seamless integration with AWS and snowflake services.
  
  

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Design and develop data ingestion pipelines to extract data from various sources to transform, aggregate and enrich the data.
• Implement Data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security and compliance.
• Stay up-to-date with innovations, features and best practices.
• Design scalable, secure and efficient data pipelines on AWS and snowflake aligning with business requirements and technical standards.
• Design and develop data warehousing solutions using Teradata and snowflake.
• Optimize Teradata and snowflake costs by implementing cost effective solutions and monitor the expenses.
• collaborate with cross functional teams( Development, Operations and Business) to ensure seamless integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex queries in Snowflake and AWS.
• Ensure security and compliance best practices ,implementing controls and Monitoring.
• Provide data analytics solutions using AWS and snowflake
  
  

QUALIFICATION

• Requires a Bachelor Degree in Information Technology/Data Engineering or similar combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background and minimum of 3-4 years of experience in AWS/Snowflake.
  
  

Experience

• Overall experience of 3-5 years in IT.
• Experience in agile development processes.
• Should have experience in health care and AHM certified
• Should have working experience in PIMS, PCMS and VBC
  
  

Skills And Competencies

• AWS Services: In depth knowledge of AWS Services ( S3, GLUE,LAMBDA,SNS,EMR,EC2,ATHENA,Cloud Watch etc ).
• Teradata Utilities: In depth knowledge of Teradata Utilities ( BTEQ, FAST LOAD,MLOAD,TPT etc) and performance optimization.
• Snowflake SQL: Proficiency in Snowflake SQL, including querying, data modelling and performance optimization
• Data Warehousing: Experience with Data warehousing concepts, including data modelling, ETL and data governance.
• Data Integration: Knowledge of data integration such as ETL, ELT or data pipelines
• Data Analytics: Familiarity with Data Analytics ensuring data quality and availability.
• Having knowledge on Python/Pyspark is an added advantage.
• Good to have working experience in Edward
