Job Title: Snowflake Data Engineer Location: Bangalore/Pune (Pan India relocation is considerable - High preference is Pune) Hybrid- 3days WFO & 2 days WFH Contract Duration: 15 Months Contract ? Possibility of conversion is there. HM Interview availability- Post 12PM IST, 2 rounds of interview Position: 1 Shift timings: 1:30PM ? 10:30PM (During Daylight Saving - 2:30PM IST ? 11:30PM IST) Laptop: Provided Notice period: Immediate - 30 days Gap - Upto 3-6 Months Budget ? 2650000 LPA Project Overview: Creation and maintenance of a business data warehouses and marts, including conceptual models, logical data models and physical data models for relational database designs. Expert level understanding of relational database concepts, dimensional database concepts and database architecture and design, ontology and taxonomy design Expertise in designing data driven solution on Snowflake for complex business needs. Knowledge of entire application lifecycle including Design, Development, Deployment, Operation and Maintenance in an Agile and DevOps culture Contractor?s Role: The Data Engineer is responsible designing data base models and implementing them on the data warehouse to realize a business objective. They you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle from data model refinement, warehouse implementations, data pipeline build out, operating and maintaining the warehouse. Experience Level: Level 3(8+ Years) Qualifications: Bachelor?s/relevant exp - with Snowpro Certification Must Have Skills: Overall ? 8+ years Relevant ? 5+ years Snowflake ? Minimum 3+ years 8 + years of experience in Enterprise-level Data Engineering roles. Expertise in OLAP design and deep understanding of data warehousing concepts: star/snowflake schema, ETL/ELT processes, normalization/denormalization, and data modeling. Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, including joins, window functions, and optimization techniques. Expertise and hands-on experience with Snowflake: warehouses, data ingestion with snow pipe, external integrations, working all types of views & tables, UDFs, procedures, streams, tasks and serverless, data masking. Experience with Snowflake-specific features, including clustering, partitioning, and schema design best practices. Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with both technical teams and business stakeholders. Nice to Haves: At least 3+ in asset management/investment management is highly desired. Familiarity with Snowflake?s native tools and services, including Snowflake Data Sharing, Snowflake Streams & Tasks, and Snowflake Secure Data Sharing. Knowledge of best practices for data governance, access control, and compliance. Understanding of software development life cycle including planning, development, quality assurance, change management and release management. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Self-motivated and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Familiarity with MDM, Data Vault 2. Python skill is a plus.
