Job Title : Snowflake Cloud Administrator

Job Type : Full-Time / Contract

Experience : 8-15 years

Location : Hyderabad, Telangana

Responsibilities

8 15 years of experience with Snowflake administration.
Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, administration, security, and performance tuning.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake Warehouse Optimization techniques.
Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
Experience with monitoring, alerting, and performance management tools.
Experience integrating Snowflake with cloud storage platforms such as Amazon S3, Azure Data Lake Storage, or Google Cloud Storage.
In-depth knowledge of Snowflake Time Travel, Fail-safe, cloning, and data recovery features.
Strong understanding of RBAC, security frameworks, and governance controls.
Proficiency in SQL and Snowflake query optimization techniques.
Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and data engineering concepts.
Understanding of data governance and compliance frameworks.
Administer and maintain Snowflake environments across development, testing, and production.
Implement Snowflake best practices for governance, security, and operational efficiency.
Manage Snowflake account configurations, network policies, and access controls.
Analyze and optimize virtual warehouse performance, sizing, and concurrency.
Implement auto-suspend, auto-resume, and workload management strategies to control costs.
Support data restoration activities and ensure business continuity requirements are met.
Implement retention policies aligned with organizational compliance standards.
Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
Automate Snowflake object provisioning, role management, and environment deployment.
Optimize data movement between Snowflake and cloud storage platforms.
Ensure compliance with enterprise security and data governance standards.
Troubleshoot Snowflake platform issues and coordinate resolution activities.
