Job Title : Snowflake Backend Developer
Job Type : Part-time / Contract
Experience : 5-6 Years
Location : Hyderabad, Telangana(Hybrid)
Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend data warehouse models in Snowflake (facts, dimensions, staging layers)
- Apply strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (star/snowflake schema, SCDs, historical data management)
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex Snowflake SQL queries
- Create and manage Snowflake objects such as tables, views, streams, tasks, and stored procedures
- Build and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines for batch and incremental data loads
- Perform query performance tuning and cost optimization
- Handle data ingestion from multiple source systems and file formats
- Implement and manage data security, role‑based access control, and governance
- Identify and implement data warehouse enhancements to improve performance, scalability, and reliability
- Support enhancements, change requests, and optimization initiatives on existing Snowflake solutions
- Monitor jobs, troubleshoot data issues, and ensure data quality and reliability
- Python for data processing or automation
- Experience with CI/CD for data pipelines
- Snowflake certification
- Exposure to Kafka or streaming data
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
