Site Supervisor

Job Description

Akuntha Projects Private Limited is looking for a dedicated Site Supervisor to manage on-site execution of substation and cable laying projects. The candidate will be responsible for supervising field activities, coordinating with contractors and teams, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and as per specifications.

Job Duties

• Supervise substation works including erection, installation, and commissioning support
• Oversee underground and overhead cable laying activities including trenching, laying, jointing, and termination
• Ensure all work is executed as per drawings, BOQ, and technical specifications
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and labor teams for smooth execution
• Monitor daily site progress and maintain reports (DPR)
• Ensure quality control of materials and installation work
• Identify and resolve on-site issues and delays
• Maintain strict safety standards and ensure compliance at site
• Manage manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and local authorities when required
• Willingness to travel to project sites as per requirement
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 1+ year experience in substation or cable laying projects
• Knowledge of HT/LT cable systems, routing, and installation practices
• Basic understanding of electrical drawings and site execution
• Strong team handling and coordination skills
• Ability to manage site work under deadlines
• Good communication and reporting skills
