ROLE SUMMARY

  • We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and reliability of our production systems.
  • In this role, you will apply software engineering principles to infrastructure and operations, reduce manual toil through automation, and build the observability and resilience that keep critical services running smoothly.
  • You will partner closely with development teams to define service objectives, prevent incidents before they happen, and continuously raise the reliability bar across our platform.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of production services and critical infrastructure.

- Design, build, and maintain automation for deployment, monitoring, and incident response to reduce manual effort and operational toil.

- Build and own robust observability across systems, including metrics, logging, tracing, alerting, and dashboards for early issue detection.

- Define and track Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and error budgets in collaboration with engineering teams.

- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code to enable safe, consistent, and repeatable deployments.

- Lead incident response, perform root cause analysis, and drive blameless post-incident reviews to prevent recurrence.

- Design fault-tolerant, scalable architectures and guide teams on reliability and scalability trade-offs.

- Implement safe release practices such as blue-green and canary deployments.

- Perform proactive capacity planning, performance tuning, and cloud cost optimization using telemetry and data.

- Ensure secure and compliant deployments, and contribute to disaster recovery and backup strategies.

- Participate in an on-call rotation to support production systems.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Proven experience in an SRE, DevOps, or systems engineering role.

- Strong programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, Go, or Bash).

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Solid experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

- Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong working knowledge of observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or equivalents).

- Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and distributed systems.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a calm, structured approach to incident management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience defining and operating against SLOs and error budgets.

- Experience with performance tuning and large-scale capacity planning.

- Exposure to security and compliance practices in production environments.

- Experience mentoring engineers and improving on-call processes.

WHAT WE OFFER

- Real ownership of systems that directly impact product quality and delivery.

- A fast-paced, learning-focused environment that accelerates your growth, both personally and professionally.

- The opportunity to work on innovative projects across multiple industries.

- A collaborative, inclusive culture where your ideas are valued and your voice is heard.

- Exposure to the full engineering lifecycle and direct interaction with stakeholders.
