ABOUT THIS ROLE As an SRE, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the reliability, scalability, and availability of the systems that power Kibo?s products and services. You will work closely across teams to build and maintain these systems, and you will be responsible for monitoring them to proactively identify and address production issues. WHAT YOU?LL DO Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure and tools to support software development and deployment to production environments Improve, assist development, and refine monitoring and alerting systems to ensure that our systems are running smoothly and to proactively identify and address issues Automate deployment, configuration, and testing processes to streamline system administration and reduce risk of errors Troubleshoot and resolve issues with system performance, availability, and security Conduct post-mortems and root cause analyses to identify and address underlying issues and to prevent future occurrences Collaborate with other teams to build and maintain reliable and scalable systems that meet the needs of Kibo customers WHAT YOU?LL NEED 2+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or comparable position Linux system administration experience Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure Experience with Kubernetes and solid understanding of container orchestration concepts Experience with monitoring tools such as Elasticsearch, Prometheus, and Grafana Python, Bash, Go (or similar scripting language) experience Experience with configuration and automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Helm Fundamental knowledge of computer networking and DNS Strong knowledge of security best practices with the ability to implement them in the design and operation of systems Excellent problem-solving skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Availability to be participate in 24x7 on-call rotation under reasonable circumstances KIBO PERKS Flexible schedule and hybrid work setting Paid company holidays and global volunteer holiday Generous health, wellness, benefits, and time away programs Commitment to individual growth and development and opportunity for internal mobility Passionate, high-achieving teammates excited to help you succeed and learn Company-sponsored events and other activities At Kibo we celebrate and support all differences.
