Job Summary

GIVA is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Silver Production Manager to oversee and manage the silver production process. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manpower management, chemical-based manufacturing processes, and production planning, particularly in industries such as jewellery plating, zinc processing, or related chemical manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end silver production operations ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.
• Supervise and coordinate production teams and manpower on the shop floor.
• Oversee chemical processes used in jewellery plating, polishing, and finishing.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards in chemical handling and production processes.
• Monitor production schedules and optimize workflow to meet daily and monthly targets.
• Maintain and analyze production data using Excel, ERP systems, and other digital tools.
• Collaborate with quality control, procurement, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
• Train and guide production staff to maintain productivity and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in jewellery manufacturing, plating, or chemical-related production environments.
• Strong manpower handling and team management skills.
• Experience in chemical processes such as jewellery plating, zinc processing, or similar industries.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, ERP systems, and production reporting tools.
• Strong problem-solving and process management abilities.
• Knowledge of safety procedures in chemical handling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in silver jewellery manufacturing or plating industry.
• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or production optimization techniques.
