Job Description

5-8 years of overall MES experience on Siemens Opcenter Understanding of ISA 95 guidelines Hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter (previously Camstar and SIMATIC IT) for development, configuration, and implementation. Discrete Manufacturing /Aerospace/Defense/Metal/ Discrete Manufacturing Solution development: Design, configure, and develop solutions using the Siemens Opcenter MES platform, including specific modules like Opcenter Execution (for Discrete, Process, or Electronics industries), Opcenter Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS), and Opcenter Connect. System integration: Develop and implement interfaces to integrate Opcenter MES with enterprise-level systems (e.g., SAP ERP) and shop-floor automation layers (e.g., PLC/SCADA). This may involve using protocols like OPC-UA/DA. Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .NET, JavaScript, HTML5, and SQL (T-SQL, PLSQL) for developing customizations, web applications, and database-related solutions Low-Code Development: Experience with Mendix, a low-code platform acquired by Siemens and integrated with Opcenter, can be a significant advantage for rapid application development. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes within specific industries, such as discrete manufacturing (e.g., aerospace) or process manufacturing (e.g., pharma, food and beverage). Experience with Opcenter development tools, including Designer and Portal Studio, and knowledge of frameworks like MS Entity Framework and Angular JS.
