Shopify Hydrogen Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a Hydrogen Developer to build a performant, headless Shopify storefront using Shopify Hydrogen and Storefront API. The role requires strong frontend engineering capabilities and modern React-based development experience. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain a custom headless storefront using Shopify Hydrogen. Develop React components, server components, routing, caching, and SSR/ISR logic. Integrate Shopify Storefront API, Customer APIs, Cart APIs, and custom services. Ensure high performance, Lighthouse scores, and optimized page rendering. Implement GraphQL queries/mutations for real-time product, cart, and checkout flows. Collaborate with backend, UX, and design teams for seamless integration. Manage environment setup, deployment, and CI/CD workflows. Debug, optimize, and scale the Hydrogen application for traffic and reliability. Required Skills & Experience: 3?6 years of frontend development (React) experience. Strong expertise in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js. Hands-on experience with Shopify Hydrogen and Storefront API. Experience with GraphQL, server components, caching strategies. Familiarity with Vite, Tailwind, and component-driven development. Strong understanding of performance optimization in headless commerce. Nice-to-Have: Experience with Oxygen deployments. Knowledge of Next.js or similar frameworks. Experience integrating 3rd-party systems (OMS, PIM, CRM, Payments).
