Responsibilities

• Develop and customise Shopify themes, including both front-end and back-end development.
• Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to create and implement custom
  
  

features and functionalities.

Optimise websites for maximum speed, scalability, and user experience.

• Integrate third-party apps and APIs to enhance the functionality of Shopify stores.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
• Work with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into
  
  

technical requirements.

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Shopify stores.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce and Shopify trends and technologies.
• Develop custom Shopify apps or features as needed.
• Train and assist colleagues in technical tasks and best practices.
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Shopify development, including theme customization and
• development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid templating language.
• Experience with Shopify's APIs and app integration.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Shopify Plus features and capabilities.
• Experience with headless commerce and using Shopify as a headless CMS.
• Development of custom Shopify apps is a plus.
