About BirdChime

BirdChime is a product company. We build and run our own Shopify app, Bird Pickup Delivery. Bird is used by 7,000+ merchants in 60+ countries to schedule store pickups and local deliveries, and holds a 5.0 rating on the Shopify App Store. We are a small, remote team, building since 2022. Our merchants are real local shops: florists, bakeries, grocers, and cafes.

About the role

You'll be the first point of contact for our merchants. You'll assist them over email, live chat, and phone, help them integrate Bird with their Shopify theme, configure it to their store's requirements, and troubleshoot issues, collaborating with the internal team to resolve them quickly and satisfactorily.

This is a full-time remote role for a Shopify Developer with working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong product support, customer support, and technical support skills
• Proficiency with the Shopify platform, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid
• Experience developing or customizing Shopify themes and apps
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team
• 2 to 4 years working with Shopify or in a technical support or development role
• BCA, B.Tech, or equivalent

Work setup

• Full-time, fully remote, India-based
• Rotational shifts, including nights and weekends, with comp-offs on weekdays (our merchants are in 60+ countries, so coverage follows their mornings)
• Immediate joiners preferred
