We are seeking a full-time, on-site Shopify & WordPress Developer based in Kolkata. The role involves custom development, enhancement, and maintenance of Shopify and WordPress websites, covering both front-end and back-end responsibilities.

The developer will work closely with design and content teams to build responsive, performance-optimized, and user-friendly websites. This role requires hands-on experience with custom theme development, Shopify Liquid templating, plugin/app integrations, and troubleshooting complex website issues. You will also be responsible for ensuring best practices in performance, security, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility while staying updated with the latest web development trends.

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify and WordPress websites
• Perform custom theme development using Shopify Liquid
• Implement custom functionalities beyond default themes and plugins
• Ensure websites are responsive, fast, and SEO-friendly
• Integrate third-party tools, plugins, APIs, and payment gateways
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues efficiently
• Optimize website performance and improve user experience
• Collaborate with designers and content teams to deliver high-quality web solutions
• Maintain coding standards, security practices, and version control

• Strong proficiency in Front-End and Back-End Web Development
• Hands-on experience with Shopify and WordPress custom development
• Must-have experience with Shopify Liquid and custom Shopify themes
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP
• Experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility
• Good knowledge of UI/UX principles and web design best practices
• Experience with e-commerce platforms, CMS integrations, and custom workflows
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Familiarity with performance optimization and security best practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (preferred)
