Shipping and Container Mfg Expert

We are looking to onboard a permanent part-time consultant who has atleast 15-20 years expertise within the shipping sector and can guide us on shipping container products. The goal is to design, build, test and deploy upto 5,000 ISO 1496 (1AX to 1CX) 20ft containers (dry and reefers) by 2028 through Indian and Middle East Ports/hubs.

Our core proposition involves 40-50% lightweighting, zero corrosion, zero dents, and 50-75% lower carbon footprint per container. The goal for 2026 is to test prototypes with major shipping corporations and have them ISO certified, prior to starting full-scale production by mid-2027.

• Hybrid. Flexible on location. Travel to Gurgaon Plant.
• Consulting fee - depending on experience and number of hours.
• SoW to be mutually discussed basis above goals
• Optional ESOPs (success based)

Background of the consultant:

1. Good understanding of both commercial as well as regulatory landscape
2. An in-depth rolodex to connect us with relevant stakeholders
3. Ability to guide us on regulatory path, roadblocks, and key personnel to interact with
4. Demonstrated liaison with Government and policy makers
5. Demonstrated ability to liaise with shipping lines/ports and present techno-commercial solutions
