Role Description

This is a hybrid independent contractor role for a ServiceNow Manual Tester as part of a team supporting a federal client, located in Northern VA. The Manual Tester will be responsible for executing manual test cases to ensure the quality of ServiceNow applications, reporting and documenting test results, identifying bugs, and collaborating with developers to address and resolve issues. Additional responsibilities include creating and maintaining test documentation, performing functionality and regression testing, and ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in manual testing methodologies, test case creation, and execution
• Knowledge of ServiceNow platform functionalities and testing practices
• Experienced with JIRA and Confluence tools
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile development methodologies
• Ability to write detailed bug reports, test plans, and document testing processes
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with developers and stakeholders
• Relevant certifications in manual testing or ServiceNow are an advantage
• Ability to meet federal security clearance requirements
