Role Description The Servicenow Lead Engineer (CTA Certified) is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, implementing, and leading ServiceNow solutions that drive enterprise automation. The role includes translating business requirements into scalable technical architectures, configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules, and integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise systems. This position involves overseeing technical delivery, guiding development teams, performing code and configuration reviews, and ensuring adherence to best practices and platform governance. The Lead Engineer collaborates closely with stakeholders to troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance, and continuously improve workflows using Agentic AI capabilities. The role also includes mentoring team members, contributing to technical standards, and staying current with ServiceNow releases and industry trends.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills for complex ServiceNow and integration-related issues.
  • Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret business requirements, optimize workflows, and diagnose performance or reliability concerns.
  • Candidates should possess Customer Support and Customer Service skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, manage expectations, and provide clear guidance.
  • CTA (Certified Technical Architect) certification in ServiceNow, or equivalent advanced ServiceNow certification, is strongly preferred.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow architecture, configuration, scripting (JavaScript), and integrations (REST/SOAP, APIs).
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical teams, reviewing designs, and enforcing development standards in enterprise environments.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or comparable professional experience in enterprise IT.
