Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated ServiceNow Administrator / Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, customization, maintenance, and enhancement of the ServiceNow platform while ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance with organizational standards.
This role requires strong technical expertise in ServiceNow development, scripting, integrations, platform administration, and production support. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow Administration & Development
- Administer, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform and associated applications.
- Develop and customize ServiceNow solutions using:
- Business Rules
- Client Scripts
- UI Policies
- UI Actions
- Script Includes
- ACLs
- Notifications
- UI Pages
- UI Macros
- Formatters
- Create and manage Update Sets and promote changes across Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments.
- Perform platform upgrades, patching, and release management activities.
- Configure and maintain MID Servers for ITOM, Discovery, Security, and Integrations.
- Monitor platform health, performance, usage, and compliance.
Platform Support & Incident Management
- Provide L2/L3 production support for ServiceNow applications.
- Investigate and resolve incidents, service requests, and platform-related issues within SLA timelines.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, and infrastructure issues.
- Handle High and Critical priority incidents following established support procedures.
- Maintain incident lifecycle and documentation in the ticketing system.
Integrations & Automation
- Design and support integrations using:
- REST APIs
- Table API
- Scripted REST APIs
- Web Service Import Sets
- LDAP integrations
- Develop automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Support integrations with enterprise applications and third-party systems.
Service Catalog & Portal
- Configure and maintain:
- Service Catalog
- Catalog Items
- Record Producers
- Catalog Settings
- Service Portal
- Widgets
- Support workflow automation and business process improvements.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Create and maintain technical documentation, work instructions, and knowledge articles.
- Develop user guides and training materials.
- Support knowledge transfer to Service Desk and technical support teams.
Collaboration
- Work closely with business users, functional consultants, infrastructure teams, and developers.
- Participate in Agile delivery using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
- Communicate effectively with global stakeholders and customers.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Mandatory
- Strong experience in:

- Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Unix and Linux operating systems.

- Knowledge of Service Portal development and custom widgets.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
