Commerical Service HVAC Technician

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Position Summary

Mechanical Optimizers is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining, diagnosing, repairing, and replacing commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems. This position requires a motivated professional who can work independently while delivering exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with internal teams.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC/R systems and equipment
  • Replace and startup multiple types of HVAC equipment
  • Communicate issues, recommendations, and solutions clearly with customers
  • Share relevant customer information with service and sales teams following service visits
  • Respond to emergency service calls during and after normal business hours
  • Complete work orders, timecards, and job-related documentation accurately and professionally
  • Perform duties in varying weather and challenging job site conditions
  • Identify and report unsafe or hazardous conditions
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing training opportunities
  • Utilize service operations technology while working in the field
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial/industrial HVAC/R systems
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • EPA certification required
  • Kentucky Journeyman License preferred
