Role Description The Service Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The Service Engineer will perform installation, commissioning, routine maintenance, and repair of process plants and machinery at customer locations. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, delivering field service support, and ensuring minimal downtime for client operations. The role involves documenting service activities, preparing reports, and coordinating with internal technical teams to resolve complex problems. The Service Engineer will also communicate with customers to understand issues, provide technical guidance, and promote safe and efficient use of equipment.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform effective Field Service in industrial environments.
  • Candidates should possess solid Technical Support capabilities, with experience in diagnosing equipment issues and recommending solutions.
  • Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills for mechanical and, preferably, basic electrical systems.
  • Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent technical field).
  • Experience working with process plants, industrial machinery, or related equipment is an advantage.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, use diagnostic tools, and follow safety standards.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and work in manufacturing or plant environments as needed.
