Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and technically sound Service Engineer – Pumps to manage service operations, customer support, and spares business development. This role is critical in ensuring timely service delivery, customer satisfaction, and revenue generation through maintenance and AMC contracts.Key ResponsibilitiesService & Maintenance
- Handle customer complaints and technical issues with prompt resolution
- Provide effective solutions and maintain regular client communication
- Ensure service execution within defined timelines (48–72 hours)
- Coordinate with principals for critical technical escalations
- Generate enquiries for spares and drive spares sales
- Develop and manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)
- Follow up with customers for payments and service feedback
- Visit customers regularly to build strong relationships (15 visits/month)
- Plan and deploy service mechanics for site visits
- Ensure service reports are collected within 72 hours
- Submit quotations as per customer requirements
- Respond to all customer enquiries within 24 hours
- Maintain weekly reports on:
- Complaints (received/resolved/pending)
- Service visits and upcoming schedules
- RDM (Rejected Defective Material) stock
- AMC visits and action plans
- Conduct weekly godown visits and monitor defective stock
- Oversee repair timelines (within 4 weeks of receipt)
- Authorize service-related vouchers and coordinate submissions
- Response to enquiries: Within 24 hours
- Service turnaround: 48 hrs (Mumbai), 72 hrs (outside)
- Customer visits: Minimum 15/month
- AMC Development: 4 contracts
- Spares & servicing revenue targets
- Timely report submission (weekly basis)
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or related field
- Experience in pump servicing or electromechanical equipment (preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting and customer handling skills
- Ability to manage field operations and coordinate with teams
- Good communication and reporting skills
