Job Summary
Position Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm
The service coordinator will be deeply involved in the work order process for our Field Service department, including opening/maintaining/closing work order headers and segment in our Service Link program, technician time entry into Service Link, receiving and entering technician service reports into Service Link, scheduling Service and Safety Letter work (similar to recall), customer purchase order requests, filing to history files, warranty claim pre-prep, coordination, follow-up and communication with central warranty group and parts personnel through to claim closure, as well as clerical work such as payroll and scheduling. This position will also include taking and making phone calls to customers.
Competencies
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to communicate to exchange information verbally. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.

Competencies
- Strong computer skills, including typing and keyboarding, and the ability to use MS Word, Excel, and other computer programs.
- Superior organizational skills, and works well with multiple people, as they will be communicating with various branches and departments.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have good decision-making and a strong desire for follow-up and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills are required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Prior clerical experience in a service department, in a related field, is preferred.
