About Business Line/Function This position is for AFS-FDA/FDI Job Title Senior WTX developer Date 01-Oct-2025 Department ISPL Location: Chennai Business Line / Function AFS Reports To (Direct) Grade (if applicable) (Functional) Number Of Direct Reports Directorship / Registration: Position Purpose This position is for FDA & FDI Application development. The candidate should pose the relevant technical skill and to develop code for various flagship and technical migration projects. Candidate should develop a good understanding of the existing application (functional and technical) Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities Build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with stakeholders. Good interpersonal communication, client interaction skills and an excellent team player. Have sound knowledge of the Development life cycle & high level of exposure to processes. Has sound knowledge in banking domain. Good Business and Functional Knowledge Have Good experience in WTX, Sybase, Unix/Linux, Jasper. Exposure to Performance tuning Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Good Knowledge in UML diagrams Exposure to Configuration management and Release management. Enthusiastic to work in challenging environment. Exposure to Agile methodology Contributing Responsibilities To Train newcomers for functional and technical knowledge To improve the existing process To improve the application performance Technical & Behavioral Competencies Good understanding of Oops and RDBMS concepts ITX 10.x (Type tree, Integration flow designer, Resource registry etc.) Proficiency in writing PL/SQL, stored procedures (Sybase) Prior experience of working in Linux environments, and Shell scripting will be added advantage. Ability to perform business and technical analysis, design and identify impacts (functional/technical). Knowledge /or experience of the Investment services industry / Funds Administration will be a plus. Have sound knowledge of the Development life cycle preferably with Agile methodology & high level of exposure to processes. Exposure to Cloud & AI will be an added advantage. Exposure to Configuration management and Release management. Good hands-on experience in Unit testing, Integration testing and support to UAT users. Open to cross skill in other technology (Angular, Springs, Jasper).
