Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Web Developer with strong experience in PHP, Laravel, MVC architecture, JavaScript, and MySQL to develop, enhance, and maintain high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on backend logic, database optimization, and frontend integration while following clean coding standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain PHP-based web and e-commerce applications
• Implement business logic using OOP and MVC architecture
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs
• Optimize application performance and MySQL queries
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, and product teams
• Participate in code reviews and ensure coding best practices
• Maintain version control and deployment workflows

Required Skills & Qualifications

Backend Development

• Strong proficiency in PHP
• Hands-on experience with Laravel / CodeIgniter / Symfony
• Solid understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles
• Knowledge of dependency injection
• Experience following PSR-12 coding standards
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Database

• Strong experience with MySQL
• Hands-on experience with ORM tools (Doctrine preferred)

Frontend

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with Bootstrap or similar CSS frameworks
• Familiarity with templating engines like Twig is a plus

Tools & Technologies

• Version control using Git
• Dependency management using Composer
• Experience with Webpack / Vite / Grunt or similar build tools

Nice to Have

• Experience with unit, integration, or acceptance testing
• Knowledge of PHP code quality tools (PHPStan, Psalm, CodeSniffer, Rector)
• Understanding of web security best practices
• Performance tuning and optimization experience
• API development and third-party API integrations
• Exposure to Vue.js or similar frontend frameworks
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopware / OXID / Magento)
