Role Description The Senior Video Editor at Flolapo will lead the end-to-end video production process, including planning, editing, and delivering high-quality content for advertising campaigns and brand storytelling. This full-time, on-site role in Coimbatore involves collaborating closely with creative directors, writers, designers, and videographers to interpret briefs, refine concepts, and ensure consistent visual style across projects. Daily responsibilities include assembling raw footage, applying advanced edits, color grading, motion graphics, and sound refinement to create polished, engaging videos for multiple platforms. The Senior Video Editor will also mentor junior editors, maintain organized project files, manage timelines, and contribute to continuous improvement of video workflows and standards.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing to manage end-to-end creation of high-quality video content.
  • Candidates should possess advanced skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance overall aesthetic across campaigns.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics to design and integrate dynamic visual elements, titles, and transitions.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Graphics to collaborate on visual assets and align video outputs with brand guidelines.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) is highly beneficial.
  • Demonstrated experience in agency or brand-side video work, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse commercial and social media projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional creative teams.
  • Strong storytelling sense, attention to detail, and commitment to quality; familiarity with current digital content and social media trends is an advantage.
  • A relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
