Job Description Functional Test Engineer : 7-10 years of experience Detailed understanding of how to properly document test cases Prepare test planning and create test cases to test complex web-based applications Perform Functional, Regression, Integration & User acceptance Testing. Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements and estimation Provide weekly/daily testing reports to the Test Lead/Manager/. Work as individual contributor and maintain high standards of communication. Present ideas for system improvements; assist the team in establishing good practices and habits. Should be able identify and document defects and drive them to closure through coordination Candidates with Banking/ Financial domain are preferred Your background Detailed understanding of how to properly document test cases Prepare test planning and create test cases to test complex web-based applications Perform Functional, Regression, Integration & User acceptance Testing. Should be able to identify and document defects and drive them to closure through coordination Should have knowledge of at least one of the standard testing tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, HP ALM, etc. Strong demonstrable knowledge of OOP concepts and the Java programming language Comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile environment.
