A Snapshot of Your Day We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer. You will play a relevant role in crafting the quality strategy for our platform by developing robust, scalable, and maintainable automation frameworks using Python and BDD methodologies.s. This is not just a button-clicking role?we want someone who understands the software inside out, is passionate about quality engineering, and can bring both manual and automated testing expertise to ensure we ship secure, high-quality software, faster. How You?ll Make An Impact Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based test automation frameworks for web applications. Apply Development methods with tools like Behave or pytest-bdd. Write clean, maintainable, and reusable test scripts that cover both frontend and backend components. Develop, complete, and coordinate comprehensive test cases and test suites for regression, integration, system, and performance testing. Conduct manual testing of new features and sophisticated user flows where automation isn't feasible. Collaborate with developers, architect, and Product Owner to embed testing earlier in the development lifecycle. Evaluate and adopt standard processes for testing, covering test data management, test design patterns, version control, and CI/CD integration.n. Analyze database queries and validate data integrity during test execution. Participate in and supply to cybersecurity awareness and secure coding practices, especially during testing of authentication, authorization, and data protection features. What You Bring validated experience in software quality assurance, with at least 5 years in test automation using Python. Strong expertise in BDD frameworks like Behave, pytest-bdd, or Cucumber. Nice to Have Exposure to frontend testing frameworks like Selenium or Playwright. Hands-on experience testing sophisticated web applications with dynamic workflows, APIs, and multi-user interactions. Experience with performance testing tools like Locust, or JMeter. Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., MSSQL, MySQL) and writing SQL queries for validation. Validated knowledge of manual testing methodologies, test planning, and bug lifecycle.(such as shift-left testing, CI integration, mocking, and test data setup). Experience with REST API testing, Postman or similar tools. Awareness or validated understanding of cybersecurity principles, OWASP top 10, and security testing techniques. Who is Siemens Gamesa?
