L2 Experience: 6+ Years Location: Pune Employment Type: Full-time Shift: (24/7 / Rotational) Role Summary We are seeking an experienced System Engineer (L2) with strong hands-on expertise in Linux administration and a solid foundation in Desktop Support/End-User Support . The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing Linux-based systems, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and ensuring overall infrastructure stability and security. Key Responsibilities Linux System Administration 6+ years of overall IT experience , including 3+ years in Linux system administration . Strong expertise in Linux OS (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) . Manage, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu). Perform routine system checks, patching, upgrades, and kernel updates. Server & Infrastructure Management Troubleshoot L2-level server issues?OS, network, hardware, virtual machines. Manage users, groups, permissions, sudo policies, and security hardening. Perform system backups, restore activities, and maintain DR readiness. End-User & Desktop Support (L1/L2 Support Background) Address escalated end-user technical issues efficiently. Provide advanced Windows/Linux desktop troubleshooting. Support application installation, system configuration, and remote assistance.
