About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Student Recruitment Manager - South India - Australia Destination to lead recruitment growth and achieve regional student enrolment targets for the Careers and Industry (C&I) Division. The C&I portfolio includes leading Australian education institutions such as CSU Sydney, CSU Melbourne, ACAP, and SAE, offering high-quality academic pathways and career-focused programs for students aspiring to study in Australia. This role is ideal for an experienced international education professional with a strong understanding of the student recruitment landscape and a passion for building meaningful partnerships.
Working closely with college teams, in-market staff, and regional leadership, you will drive impactful recruitment initiatives across the region. Your responsibilities will include agent engagement and training, lead generation activities, student counselling and conversion, and responding to enquiries from students, parents, and education partners.
The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening our presence in the market by developing strong stakeholder relationships and delivering effective on-the-ground recruitment strategies to support the continued growth of our Australian education programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic student recruitment plans aligned with institutional enrolment targets.
- Identify priority markets and implement campaigns to attract high-quality prospective students.
- Lead and supervise the recruitment team, setting performance targets and conducting training and development sessions.
- Build and maintain partnerships with schools, consultants, community organizations, and industry stakeholders.
- Engage prospective students and families through counselling sessions, campus visits, and recruitment outreach
- Plan and deliver recruitment events such as open houses, college fairs, campus tours, and information sessions.
- Represent the institution at regional, national, and international recruitment activities.
- Analyze recruitment data and trends using CRM/SRM tools to improve conversion and pipeline management.
- Prepare performance reports and collaborate with marketing to deliver effective recruitment communications and campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Degree in higher education, marketing, business, or related field preferred.
- Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, or enrolment management in higher education.
- Proven experience in leading a team and developing successful recruitment strategies.
- Knowledge of CRM systems, data analysis, and digital marketing tools.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various departments, students, and external stakeholders.
- Data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to interpret recruitment metrics and trends.
- Comfortable with public speaking, presentations, and representing the institution at events.
Working Conditions:
- Occasional travel required for recruitment events and outreach.
- Flexible hours, with some evening and weekend work as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
