Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Java Windchill Developer specializing in Windchill to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible to design, develop, and maintain customizations, integrations utilizing Windchill. The Java developer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Windchill applications, integrations, and plugins using Java, to meet business requirements and improve product lifecycle management.
Develop custom APIs using Windchill's Java-based API, to integrate with other systems, services, or applications, ensuring seamless data exchange and functionality.
Implement business logic, workflows, and rules using Windchill's Java-based scripting engine, to automate and streamline product development, manufacturing, and quality processes.
Ensure high-quality code, following best practices, coding standards, and Windchill's development guidelines, to maintain scalability, performance, and maintainability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, project managers, and other developers, to ensure successful project delivery and effective communication.
Stay current with Windchill's latest releases, features, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve custom applications, integrations, and plugins.

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
At least 6+ years of experience in Java development for Windchill.
Proficiency in Java, including Java 8 or later, with experience in Java-based development, debugging, and troubleshooting.
In-depth knowledge of Windchill's architecture, APIs, and development tools
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Windchill Certifications is added advantage.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
