Job Title: Senior Sourcing Specialist - APAC
Location: Chennai
Roles and responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for niche and senior roles.
- Conduct market mapping and talent research across industries and competitor organizations.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring or hard-to-fill roles.
- Drive high-quality passive candidate engagement through multi-channel outreach (LinkedIn, portals, communities, referrals).
- Screen and qualify candidates before submitting to recruiters.
- Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to understand role nuances and sourcing priorities.
- Share market insights on talent availability, compensation trends, and sourcing challenges.
- Maintain sourcing metrics, pipeline updates, and data accuracy within ATS/CRM systems.
Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
- Advanced Boolean search & sourcing techniques
- Strong expertise with LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and niche platforms
- Market mapping & competitive intelligence
- Experience with PPT, and other soft skills.
Behavioral Skills
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management
- High attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Strong influencing, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
- Ability to operate independently in fast-paced environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR or related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on sourcing experience, ideally in niche or specialized hiring
- Proven track record in passive hiring and pipeline development
