Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineer with 7+ years of experience to lead and drive our automation testing efforts. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks, as well as mentoring junior team members and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing. Analyze requirements, create detailed test plans, and develop comprehensive automated test scripts. Lead the automation strategy, tool selection, and implementation for new and existing projects. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior automation engineers. Collaborate with developers, manual testers, and business analysts to ensure high-quality deliverables. Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). Continuously improve automation processes, frameworks, and best practices. Perform performance, security, and compatibility testing as needed. Prepare test reports and communicate results to stakeholders. Experience in Manual Testing. Required Skills: 7+ years of experience in automation testing. Expertise in automation tools (Playwright, Cypress, etc.). Strong programming/scripting skills (JavaScript, TypeScript or similar). Experience with test frameworks (BDD, TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, Mocha, etc.). Hands-on experience with API automation (RestAssured, Postman, etc.). Proficient in integrating automation with CI/CD tools. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN). Preferred Qualifications: ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus Experience with cloud-based testing platforms. Exposure to BDD tools (Cucumber, SpecFlow, etc.).
