Design, develop, and configure Guidewire applications such as PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter. ? Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using SOAP/REST APIs. ? Write and debug code using Java, GOSU, and SQL. ? Leverage GitHub Copilot and Generative AI tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance productivity. ? Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure solution quality. ? Provide support for QA and production environments. ? Analyze and resolve complex software issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. ? Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements where applicable. ? Identify and implement process improvements and best practices. ? Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and management throughout the development lifecycle. Requirements: ? 3?10 years of hands-on implementation experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite. ? Proficiency in Gosu, Java, XML, and XSLT. ? Experience with Guidewire Studio, Rules, Workflows, and Data Model. ? Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines. ? Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI pair programming tools. ? Understanding of Generative AI concepts and their application in software development. ? Familiarity with SmartCOMM, GhostDraft, or similar document generation platforms. ? Knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance, including both commercial and personal lines. ? Experience with Agile tools like Jira and version control systems like SVN. ? Strong conceptual, analytical, and mathematical skills. Good To Have: Candidates with these additional skills on their resumes have an added advantage when their profiles are being assessed. Some of them are as follows: ? Guidewire certification (e.g., PolicyCenter Configuration Specialist). ? Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker). ? Exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, or building internal GenAI tools. ? Knowledge of the insurance domain and business processes.
