Senior Software Engineer, QA

Job Description

Responsibilities Review requirements, specifications, and functional design documents to ensure clarity and alignment with business needs. Also, necessary feedback to be provided as required Create and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases. Design, develop, execute and maintain automation scripts using relevant tools and frameworks Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using bug tracking systems Follow testing process as defined by the Quality Management System. Collaboration with internal and global teams (e.g., developers & product owner) to identify testing requirements. Education / Qualifications Bachelor?s/Master?s degree in Computer Science / related discipline is required. 3 - 5 years of experience in software testing, covering both manual and automated testing processes. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and hands-on experience with modern test automation tools such as Playwright/any relevant tools. Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills (both verbal and written). Proven ability to manage multiple testing activities, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality results within project timelines. Demonstrated adaptability to evolving technologies, project scopes, and testing methodologies, with a continuous learning mindset to stay current in the field Desired Qualifications Public Safety experience is desirable. Familiar with Agile Scrum Methodology Applied knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio and SQL scripting About Hexagon Hexagon?s R&D Centre in India Hexagon?s R&D Center in India is the single largest R&D hub for the company globally.
