As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be involved in all stages of our SDLC from day one; this includes requirement gathering, feature planning, implementation, testing, documentation writing, releases, and application support. You will develop and test code for system changes or new modules within Bottomline?s core technology and architecture according to internal and regulatory specifications and standards. This is a unique role offering the opportunity to work in a cross-functional, international team.?? ? Key Skills: ?.NET Core/Frameworks, C#, ASP.NET, XSLT, SOAP/Restful API, MYSQL/Oracle Responsibilities? Work with the team and product managers in an agile (scrum) environment to design and develop high-quality features and enhancements Assist in estimation and planning of future work within a scrum project framework Create automated unit and integration tests Take a lead on best practice and new technologies Participate in release testing Write and maintain technical documentation Provide maintenance support for products and services and assist the support teams with relevant product issues Continuously update technical expertise and mentor and coach more junior team members Investigate new technologies and propose ideas for future development Write prototypes where necessary to explore ideas and gain feedback Demonstrate new product functionality to other team members Essential Experience? A degree in Computer Science or equivalent 6+ years? experience in software development? Developing C# .NET RESTful services and web-based development Strong coding experience on backend using?.NET Core Relational database design and development, including Oracle and/or MSSQL Strong problem-solving skills with an aptitude for learning and innovation? Excellent inter-personal, oral, and written communication skills? Self-starter capable of working independently and as part of a team ?Desirable Experience?
